Continuing on and just before the False Bay coast road curves away to the east, we arrive at Muizenberg, one of Cape Town’s beach suburbs.

Not far from Simon’s Town and on the coast road back to Cape Town is the small and quaint fishing village of Kalk Bay.

An absolute ‘must’ for all visitors is a trip to Boulders Beach. It is not just another beautiful Cape Peninsula beach of which there are so many.

Don’t miss the opportunity to have a look around this charming and very quaint farm village.

Ravishing beauty now overwhelms us as we finally drive into the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, for herein lies the legendary lighthouse and the Cape Of Good Hope, our final destination.

Now for something completely different! Practically at the end of our gorgeous scenic drive – and just 50 kms from Cape Town- is the Cape Point Ostrich Farm.

Time to move on from the attractions of Noordhoek’s beaches and coffee houses and continue our drive south.

The dizzying and exhilarating drive to the crest of Chapman’s Peak is scarce preparation for the wholly unexpected sight of the gorgeous and quite spectacular Noordhoek beach far below.

To Capetonians and global travellers, the extraordinary drive along Chapman’s Peak has to be one of the most awe-inspiring routes imaginable.

You’ve now done Llandudno, so back into your car and onto the winding, scenic coastal road, still hugging the Atlantic, and follow it all the way to Hout Bay.
