Now for something completely different! Practically at the end of our gorgeous scenic drive – and just 50 kms from Cape Town- is the Cape Point Ostrich Farm. Situated in the most beautiful part of the Cape Peninsula, it is also next door to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve – a part of the Cape Point National Park.

This is a breeding farm and a great opportunity to see these huge birds up close. There are 40 breeding ostriches here and each live in 40 truly comfortable camps to ensure their health and the health of the eggs. There are always eggs being incubated and if you are lucky enough to be there in the breeding season you can actually witness the hatching of ostrich chicks.
