You’ve now done Llandudno, so back into your car and onto the winding, scenic coastal road, still hugging the Atlantic, and follow it all the way to Hout Bay.

This little town with a name that translates from the Welsh as “Parish of St Tudno” will be the next landmark one will pass driving down the coast.

Maiden’s Cove – a lovely name for a lovely beach and a definite recommended stop for the sheer pleasure of the stunning views of Camps Bay  against the spectacular backdrop of the mountains.

The Magnificent Table Mountain Range stretches as far as the eye can see, with the view of the backside of Lions Head and the towering Twelve Apostles Mountain Peaks which forms the back of the Table Mountain National Park stretching from Signal Hill in the City all the way to the dramatically beautiful Cape

What a compelling start to our much anticipated drive down the Peninsula! The Cape Town Stadium evokes the strongest feelings of nostalgia and sheer emotion whenever I drive past.
